Smile Help - Legal advice needed - Commercial Property

Hi all, I bought a commercial building twelve months ago , the owner decided to stay on in part of the building and has been paying rent monthly , there is no formal agreement in place, now he refuses to sign a lease. Can I make him leave with a months notice? Any help would be appreciated.

i think its 2 months notice after they have been in 6 months +
not 100% and if they pay monthly give notice the same day he pays rent
