Yup, I do (occasionally)
Places to eat/drink, well anywhere really, it's all nice and all exspensive, my faves are Jamies (Westferry Circus) and there's a Fullers pub too

Yep I work there, Weatherspoons is best However if you really want to spend ridiculous amounts on a single pint of beer then any of the bars along the North dock (behind the CSFB building) will empty your wallet for you.
All the bars are popular though, walk round in this weather on a Friday night and every bar will be rammed. The ones outside the tube station are particularly popular for obvious reasons.

Bar38 has the most bizzare bogs around.
BeneBene (upmarket benjy's) does a mean sausage and bacon torpedo
The best StarBucks is the one in Churchill place (under Barclays)
If you need to use the post office, use the one there too, the other one is rubbish and constantly packed out.
Tesco's is cheaper than Waitrose but a bit further to go for me.
BK is above Tescos but don't expect to be served quickly
Square Pie is a rip off
The Game shop is the only one I've been in that doesn't stink of BO
The HMV has the counters too close together.
Sunbathers hang out above the tube station in this weather. (And my office overlooks )
I like being there a lot but it does get a bit samey after a while.

Weatherspoons is close to you if you're at Westferry. Weatherspoons is at the very far North West end of the North dock. Don't think its called Weatherspoons now though, been renamed to the Ledger Building or something stupid. Everyone still refers to it as Weatherspoons though. Basically if you look at the Marriott Hotel from the CSFB side of the dock Weatherspoons is the furthest left building along that row of bars.

Itsu?
There's a couple of those and a takeaway shop too. (opposite Krispy Kreme)
There's a nice eating area in Jubilee place near the other one with Tootsies, Tiffin Bites, Waggamamas etc...

Krispy Kreme are nice but you can't beat Tescos 10 for a pound over their 12 for 7 quid.
Going back through the thread, I seem most interested in the food related shops!
To sum up - none of them sell bad food (that I've found anyway) but most of them are overpriced, best value is in Tesco.
When a sandwich, a drink and a bag of crisps requires more than a fiver, it has to be a pretty special sandwich to get my cash!
(It would seem I'm "big boned" AND tight! )
