Yup, I do (occasionally)

Places to eat/drink, well anywhere really, it's all nice and all exspensive, my faves are Jamies (Westferry Circus) and there's a Fullers pub too

Plateau above Waitrose is good - very in, usually packed in the bar but not too bad in the restaurant. Starters £6-9 and mains £10 upwards.

Good atmosphere.

Bar38 has the most bizzare bogs around.
BeneBene (upmarket benjy's) does a mean sausage and bacon torpedo
The best StarBucks is the one in Churchill place (under Barclays)
If you need to use the post office, use the one there too, the other one is rubbish and constantly packed out.
Tesco's is cheaper than Waitrose but a bit further to go for me.
BK is above Tescos but don't expect to be served quickly
Square Pie is a rip off
The Game shop is the only one I've been in that doesn't stink of BO
The HMV has the counters too close together.
Sunbathers hang out above the tube station in this weather. (And my office overlooks )

I like being there a lot but it does get a bit samey after a while.

It was chocker this evening , but a good laugh . where is the Weatherspoons ?

Basically if you look at the Marriott Hotel from the CSFB side of the dock Weatherspoons is the furthest left building along that row of bars.
I think I know where you mean, ok this could be a potential stoopid question but what does CSFB mean ?

Thanks Bravo , I know Cabot Sq, pick up a latte there every morning, and I know the Credit Suisse place just did not realise it was First Boston.

Itsu?

There's a couple of those and a takeaway shop too. (opposite Krispy Kreme)
There's a nice eating area in Jubilee place near the other one with Tootsies, Tiffin Bites, Waggamamas etc...

Krispy Kreme are nice but you can't beat Tescos 10 for a pound over their 12 for 7 quid.

Going back through the thread, I seem most interested in the food related shops!

To sum up - none of them sell bad food (that I've found anyway) but most of them are overpriced, best value is in Tesco.
When a sandwich, a drink and a bag of crisps requires more than a fiver, it has to be a pretty special sandwich to get my cash!

(It would seem I'm "big boned" AND tight! )
