I don't remember the last time we had a storm quite that intense, everyones gutters were overflowing near me as the downpipes couldn't take it! Had hail about 1cm big at one point as well, awesome.

had a really sharp storm around 9am, like something from Lost 
it just started, no messing around, compleatly hammered the ground for about 10 mins and then dried up, followed by a scorchio day

Weather been horrendous here, persisting it down for 3 hours, thunder and lightning, the whole caboodle.
Watered my tree ferns though
