Just checked the till and found a £20 note with Michael Faraday (sp?) on the rear.

i believe this out out of circulation but can be exchanged if i send it back down to the bank of London?

anybody done this before

note looks brand new TBH, somebody must have had a nice wad stuffed under a mattress

one website tells me it was took out of circulation in 2001

i had that happen to me, some old woman paid me in cash and i only found out they were out of circulation when i tried to spend them !!! just went to the bank and they swapped them all for real money
