Default Best Fixed Sat Nav System

I have a tomtom which is great however I would like to get a fixed system for my car.

Having read up a little, the AVICX1R or the the new bluetooth version seems to fit my needs and get good reviews. Is there anything else out there that I should consider (Kenwood?)? The only concern I have with the AVIC is that it looks too aftermarket,

My main requirements are that it is good at navigation (there seems to be a variance between the mobile units) and that there is the ability to play music and navigate at the same time (could be by multi-changer or Ipod). Providing the sound quality is Ok, not too fussed if it is the brilliant.

Lastly, anywhere recommended to buy/fit in the Yorkshire area?

Cheers
