How much of it is fact, and how much is hollywood make believe? I've not heard a huge amount about the film so I am interested.

The film is ok, there is another that never made it to theatres have a look around for "Flight 93" imho that is better.

How much truth is behind it is difficult to understand especially if you watch Loose Change.

I read the apparently true accounts and the film is exactly the same. All the Air Traffic Control and Military staff are the rear people that were on duty when it happened. Apparently some of the passengers phoned their loved ones from the Planes phones and their own mobiles and told them what was happening so this is were the facts from the passengers actions came from.

I personally don't feel it's in poor taste. It’s no different to a film such as Schindler's List. The methods and goals of the ****'s were barbaric and shocking, the same as the group that hijacked the plane. They had their goal and would not stop until it was achieved.

Films like Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down are also shocking, but is slightly more accepted, maybe because they are soldiers?

It was nice to see how brave ordinary citizens can be.

It would've been a very short film if they'd shown what really happened ie. the passenger plane being destroyed by a load of Niner-Limas launched from USAF F-16s ! Maybe I'm just being cynical !

Thats what they reakoned at the time wasn't it.
But post 9/11 USAF investigation was critised for only having 4 operational jets on the East Coast that were all unarmed. Plus they sent them the wrong way when scrabbled meaning that the closest jets were 100 miles away from United 93 and well outside virtually all missile ranges!
The only way that the F16's could bring the the plane down was by ramming them, but all clearance for rules of engagement were only to be authorised by the President, who was too busy reading picture books at a Kindergarten!!!!

Default World trade centre film

Living here in the states went to the flicks recently and saw the trailer for this.

Looks very very emotional, I think this is gonna be a hard one to watch.

In the trailers you see the towers collapse from the inside,

I'm sorry, but that film was a pile of cr%p. Yes, those passengers were very brave to take on the terrorist scum, but why make a film that shows them basically 'p^ssing their pants' for 2 hours?

That should have been a film with a 'two finger' message to those anti-free world *****.
It wasn't based on fact anyway sadly due to nobody onboard actually surviving the attack.

And then to dedicate the film to the passengers only on flight 93. What about the other 3 planes and all poor souls in the twin towers?
