I have a 28" Sony TV with built it freeview, however the sound has almost stopped working when watching the digital channels...has anyone else suffered the same problem?

The sound is fine when watching analog, video and dvd, but tends to be both very quiet and crackly when on Freeview.

I have an upgraded aeriel on the house and it doesnt appear to have been moved or anything so I dont reckon its the signal, plus Ive retuned it a couple of times recently but there is no change and all channels are detected.

Not directly the same, sorry, but when the scart starts to drop out of the back of the digibox I loose sound, but the picture is fine.

Have you tried AV forums?
