The Fast and The Furious :Tokyo Drift
Went and saw this last night , and I was quite impressed , the story line was ok but the drifting was excellent and some good car action Lucas Black and then Vin showed up
Would recommend going to see it if only for the car bits and the dfifting , but I would not recommend going to see it at the midnight showing (mind you plenty of room and no que for the popcorn )

I really had no interest in seeing this at first , but then I though what the heck can't be any worse than the others, and I did not know much about about drifting (still don't but appriciate it now) I have watched a couple of Formula D programmes , but could not get into it so I went anyway and it was good the "acting" was not great but the cars were good and as I said it made a change . I'm glad I went too see it though don't regret the £5.30 and free popcorn

Mate loaned me F&F 2, how much did I cringe. I've seen the first one too and though it was watchable, but the second - how I laughed (in dispair)
You know your running too much NOS when the footwells start peeling away.
Does everything still go blurrey when they hit the NOS button?
I don't think it could get any worse from the 2nd one

we went to see the latest in the trilogy.. jurys out i,m afraid...
lets just say it was ok, but nothing new, and didnt give you that 'wow' factor.
the only bit worthy of the x-men moniker is the final part after the credits,

watched xmen 3 here at work yesterday when it rained
"watchable while at work" would be a decent enough review
not sure if i would pay to see it, or buy the dvd when its released

i thought it was ok.. entertaining, nice cars, brilliant car racing, no dodgy NOS blurring or Tyrese.
And it had the 'real' drift king making a cameo as a fisherman at the docks (he comments on the yank learning to drive)
The Vin Diesel cameo was a nice touch aswell.
AND sticking a RB26 Nissan motor into a muscle car?? What the hell? Looked \ Sounded pretty awesome.. bet the prop guys enjoyed that

Did anyone else notice the cameo from Tsuchiya Keiichi (the creator of drifting as it is known) as one of the fishermen sitting on the docks when the lad was learning to drift the red evo?

Did you know there's a cameo from a D1 champion - a fisherman in the background as they learn to drift...

Went to see this on Friday night
There are good and bad points in this film – Rather than write a full review I’ll bullet point
Good Points
· Some awesome drifting action & race scenes
· Half naked women
· Lead female is HOT!
Bad Points
F&F 1
The first film was excellent, I suppose it had the value of being the first film about modern modified cars, and the whole modifying scene. A major let down of the first one was the scene with the truck
F&F 2
Nice to see a mix of cars (old & new & some American muscle cars!) poor plot, good action scenes
F&F 3
Nice to see drifting covered as a topic, more so in a mainstream film, however, the lack of plot severely lets it down – conclusion, DO NOT GO AND SEE THIS FILM if you are expecting something similar to the first, it’s a mix of both films, with a drifting plot thrown in
I’m all for films like this being produced, however – the American modifying scene is completely different to the UK. Maybe the director should have actually concentrated on a decent plot and then put the film together rather than the other way around
PLEASE DON’T MAKE A 4TH ONE!!

Bad Points
- Poor Story Line (Abysmal!)
- No actual focus on specific cars
- Vin does a cameo at the end – Why? If he didn’t want to be in the film, why a cameo?
- Loads of CGT (couldn’t be more obvious if a wet kipper slapped you in the face!)

Just saw this on DVD, one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. Even the gorgeous female lead and half naked orientals couldn't save this one.
Cheesy acting, unrealistic and poor racing scenes. Straight on to ebay.
