Build yourself a nice fire in a well ventilated area. Place sliced bread on the end of a pointy stick.
Hold bread over flames until toasted

I don't know how I'd survive without my toaster, I really REALLY love toast
I'd recommend you buy one of those ones that can toast 4 slices of warburtons white medium sliced at once, therefore minimising the time from placing bread in toaster to consuming toast. And always decide on your topping beforehand to avoid disappointment - aim to have the topping on the toast within 8 seconds of the toast being removed from the toaster.
Hope that helps,
James

I thought this forum was about giving people your views, opinions and advice.
All I was looking for was to see if any toasters were good !! Not all cars are the same and not all toasters are the same. Some are better than others.

I have a moulinex 4 slice 'deep' toaster that takes a full Kingsmill size slice and has a handle on the side to help lift the toast right out of toaster. It also has a keep warm function and a roll/bun heater grill for the top, a frozen bread setting and twin crumb trays.
I will get the model number for you when I get home.

A young newlywed couple move into their new house in Edinburgh. Upon arrival they realise they have no food in the house, so off sets the husband to the local baker on his motorbike. He approaches the counter and asks for a loaf of bread. The shopkeeper asks "brown or white ?", the young man replies "no it's OK, I have my motorbike outside"
