well heres one you dont see often,

a huge slice of humble pie.

i was in my local pc emporioum today, and was looking at the large plasma on the wall, impressive to say the least!!

as i went to the other screens on display, there was a superb demo of a film running, a taxi with maniac skiers trying to shoot it, i thought thats a good picture from a 32" plasma,

it was a hyundia 32,, cept and it was a big cept it was lcd...

i went right up to the screen, and it was absolutly rock solid, no artifacts no loss of clarity, just what i would expect from a screen..

i guess that it was running a HD demo, but i have to say it was very impressive, so much so that it has changed my opinion of lcd's (only slightly mind)

but to make it viable, all the broadcasts need to be in hd...

is the hd coding like mpeg?? so if you get poor coding you get crap piccys, similar to when dvd,s first appeared,,, or is it hardware driven from a data stream??

anyway i was impressed but still looking for a plasma
