New Wolf Cubs
I know there are a few Wolf lovers on here and thought you'd like to see some new arrivals at the Combe Martin Wolf enclosure.

Stew, they'll only rip you apart if you threaten them . Too much bad press about wolves. Greatly misunderstood. Having said that, I was treated to a walk with some wolves for a birthday couple of years back, I kid you not, it was a very sobering experience. They are not to be trifled with. Great respect. Wonderful creatures.

Not sure how old these cubs are, my brother sent me the pics late last night. Will try to find out. Following pic was taken during my walk. The guy with the wolves is the owner of the sanctuary near Bedford. He's used to handling them , as you can see, I just about managed to stroke one briefly, didn't want it to smell my fear ! They are called Peyto and Cheza, both mature males.

There are some in Southern Germany and the eastern borders, they've been trying to encourage them to return. They've also been trying to encourage bears back into the region, a few weeks ago a brown bear came over from Austria, it killed a few sheep and some chickens, the farmers complained, the German government have now given permission for it to be shot on sight - feckin disgusting IMO.

One of my favourite animals. I'd love a Husky/Timber Wolf cross if I had a house/garden big enough. I think they are still illegal to own in the UK though? Edit: You can keep them if you have a license for owning dangerous animals
Looks like these are fine though http://k9magazine.com/viewarticle.ph...7dea55f0f02294
