M1 Luton - M25 (Southbound)
What is the traffic like on Sunday evenings now the roadworks are there?
Am asking as i will be going to Santa Pod a few times this year, and that part of the journey is always bad BEFORE they put the roadworks up.
If it is really bad does anyone know other routes to get from Santa Pod to the M25
Cheers
Gary

From the last few weeks I haven't seen it any worse than it usually is, though yesterday was different as there was an overturned car on the northbound section down by junction 7, slowing the southbound traffic due to rubbernecking.

I drove down yesterday (Sun) at about 6pm and it wasn't bad at all. Free flowing and I didn't once have to lower my cruise control under 40mph.
It was a Bank Hol Sunday, though.

What he said.
Came down on sunday eve as well, pretty painless and the only time I've found cruise control useful and not terrifying!
It's also really funny watching muppets brakes for the SPECS and then accelerate to 60+ between them.
