wine strength..
i remember when wine was always 11%. now if i pick a bottle up and its 11% i put it back and look for 13 or 14%
can you get any stronger wines than that
and what generally is stronger red or white?

We used to get stuff called something like "Red Mundies" if you wanted to get hammered cheaply and quickly. Mad Dog is another option (aka MD20/20 -

Had some foul stuff in cyprus that was 19.5% last year,although i think any wine exceeding 22% in this country gets taxed to buggery thats why you dont see many 15%+ around

yeast dies at around 14%, any wine over this is fortified.
