Skybybroadband
Has anyone tried this out yet??
Saw an advert yesterday and thought why not let me put it on me puter and give it a whirl.
When i put it in, I thought it was superb, i am not one for waiting around for films to start, and if i do i normally miss parts of them. WELL Skybybroadband.com gives you an online video store, you can choose any movie that is on Sky and download it to your pc in about 30 mins, watch it in bed etc(like i do with my laptop) pretty amazed that in 1hr 30mins i had downloaded hitch, and 3 other films, plus the football highlights too. It is all free to Sky subscriber also.
Have a look see, well worth it!
If it is free you may as well try it.

Didn't like it either.
Took too long, mind you I'm stuck on 1 meg. 832Mb film had only got to 70% after 3 hours. I got fed up and cancelled it.
A lot of bad reports about the Kontiki P2P client it uses as well.
Un-installing only removes the SkyByBroadband software, not the Kontiki P2P program. The link for the Kontiki uninstall software on the Sky site doesn't work and the Kontiki site doesn't have it either. A search on the web only provides you with the manual uninstall method, which requires registry deletions, due to the fact nobody else can find the uninstall program either.
Dave.
