Marbella
Myself and a couple of work mates are off to Marbella at the weekend and we are currently in a very sad discussion on the average price of a beer in Marbella/puerto banus.

I'd be *very* surprised if the average in 'the port' is £1.70 even the bars behind the waterfront charge £3 an upwards a pint and I havent been for a couple of years.

He asked for an average in marbella, not the dearest. If you sit in one of the fish restaraunts in puerto banus you will get charged more, if you drink in a backstreet spanish bar you will be about a £1

Not all of marbella is dear, plus if you want cheap drink, get on the bus to Gibralter - £4.50 for a litre of brand whisky and £5 for 200 regal ****

My parent have a place there and go at least 3-4 times a year. normally about £3.00 a pint if you are near the harbour in P/Banus, either Linekers etc, there is one bar near the Taxi rank which is 16EURO a shot, stay away from there trust me.
