I hope they are more friendly than Russian hamsters, the two I had were the most viscious little ***** and did not make good pets. If they were any bigger they'd have been classified a dangerous animal 
Have you tried google? From a quick search it says they don't make good pets and therefore not widely available in pet shops, only from specialist breeders.

Had them before,but they only last a couple of years.They dont make ideal pets because there really tiny and very quick.If you have them out of there cage and drop one,thats it,you will never catch it!!
There friendly and dont mind being handled at all.I think a lot of time from an early age is needed,as with most animals..
But there a good little thing,and fun too watch and observe.So fancied 3 or 4 as they take minimal lookin after really..

Rats are much better pets, very friendly and affectionate and easy to tame
