Hustle and Flow, guns, music, wimmin.

No explosions though - Oh and it has a story so may be too taxing

I ended up with lord of war, which wasn't too bad, worth a watch.

Some other recent ones I've seen:

kiss,kiss bang-bang :....dross.

The beat my heart skipped...french, looked ok, but no real story, and just ended like..

I know it's been pulled to pieces on here, but we watched Transporte 2 the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes suspend belief ,,,, but isn't that what most thrillers are for ? It was great entertainment. I'm just glad I didn't listen to the boring old farts on here.

King Kong is good too.

Saw II. Not quite as good as the first, but still enjoyable I thought. The usual twist at the end.
