Any millionaires on SN?
Just curious as i have a fascination with being mega rich just now (dont we all!)How did you make your first million?Was it luck,hard work or a combination?Has it made your life better or worse?

I dare say that there is a fair percentage of people that could be classed as millionaires if we are talking assets. Mainly with property, savings & investments. To be honest it would suprise you how many people you know personally that either are or are close to.
Making a million is a lot harder though .... pslewis has been trying no end for 76 years & he is still struggling with tiddly winks & monoply money

Took a risk re-joining my old company 5 years ago and was given 2% of company. Only valid obvoiusly if we ever floated. Well, we did in December and are now valued at £90 Million.
Guess I qualify (although I will leave most in the company as they will only increase.)
My one "splurge " is going to be a 2nd hand Red 360 as a toy.!!

There must be a fair few people will over £1million in assets - we are pretty much at the peak of the biggest house price boom in UK history, and Im sure a fair few people own lots of properties with little or no mortgages (probably bought in the mid 90's after the last crash)

Im on about money in the bank.I know a couple of folk with over a million in property but couldnt really afford lots of toys and stuff.I suppose most self made millionaire types are too busy making more millions to waste his/her time on a car forum.I just wanna make enough money to buy and run a ferrari f40
