Technically the first car I owned was a polo 1.3 that I was given by my parents but I don't think we ever bothered to change the documentation. In reality the first car I owned therefore was my saxo vts which I bought brand new

First car was a Ford, a 1971 Mk1 Escort 1100 popular on a J plate. I bought it for £150 in 1986.
And after Scoobs and other various quick and petrol drinking monsters I'm back with Ford again.
Currently running a year old Mondeo TDCi Ghia, it's ideal for the milage I do and the need to tow a trailer.

First car was a 1987 205 1.9 GTi - took me a full 2years to roll it!
Now drive a 2002 Audi A4, which is a great car, but I need to get a fun car for the weekends really! The A4 handles well, but even when youre really pushing on on a fast A-road it feels too quiet and safe to be exciting.

Now I drive a battered but trusty diesel E Class Touring, or a Mk2 Golf 16v, or a 2.8 XR4x4, or a 94 Legacy Turbo, or even a Mk1 MX5 1.8iS, if MrsD is feeling particularly generous
All of the above is dependant of course upon my current employers letting me go back to the UK

I had a P1, loved it and had it from new but the hoodies in our village wanted it too so had to let it go. They are soooo much fun and get the looks!

First was a ex police Mk1 escort YWA 347M (with hole in roof for lights), was supposed to be 1100cc but was 1300 plus 40 tho !! put a twin choke nikki carb and pancake filter on it ...... grr grr

Citreon AX GTi was my first car, it was only 1 yr old when i got it, wrecked it though & it got cremated for its troubles

Now I have a choice of an Impreza Turbo or 3 different Daihatsu Charade GTtis, god knows why I need 4 cars.

First car was a 2litre cavalier with a k and n filter,i thought it was well fast
Now ive got rid of my car and im awaiting the arrival of my zzr1400.Technically not a car but slightly faster than most things on the road
