Post M42 Cameras go live!!!!!!!

All,
I have been given some reliable information from a friend in the know.
As of the 1st April 2006 the new digital automated tracking system between junctions 3 & 7b on the M42 is scheduled to go live.

There are 276 Digital Cameras which have been set to 2MPH tolerance
You will not see any flash. The 1st you will know when you have been caught is the day the postman delivers the £60 fine. Be careful out there.

Cameras which have been set to 2MPH tolerance
But enforcement will only be given according to the usual guide tolerance for asessing speeding vehicles...to take into account for inaccuracies for vehicles without calibrated speedometers and the accuracy of the system itself.

Therefore, you will NOT be prosectuted for doing 72mph in a 70mph limit. Such a case would NEVER stand up in a court of law.

Unfortunatly due to this technicality in the above post, I would suggest its originality may be of a dubious nature.

Default New Trees

Good news something to look at whilst you drive along the M42.

Spaghetti trees!!

At last something else to look for instead of camera's.
