Nice one bubba, did you have to wear black nail varnish and stand there without smiling through the whole set? Actually his book 'praying to the aliens' is a good read as well, I didnt know that Paul Gardiner (his bass player from tubeway army days) topped himself.

No shame in admiting I like a bit of Numan seen him many time but not for many years, his recent stuff is far more guitar orientated, he once bought my neighbours Marcos when I was a kid, right at his peak you can imagine this guys at No 1 and he's in my street buying a motor, all of us kids were like "its Gary Numan" once met him back stage at Hammy Odeon years ago, nice down to earth guy and yes he did marry a fan, who stalked him !!, I think Gardner overdosed on H over 20 years ago now.

Did anyone go to the mini Telekon Tour, saw him for old times sake on Saturday at the Forum, what a great gig, atmosphere was awesome, obviously full of hardcore fans going ballistic, sounded great though, really enjoyed it.
I had a "super fan" in front of me on the balcony and he was so up for it then this woman with a nipper wearing ear defenders walks in front of his view so he politely taps her ushering her to the side, she just stares him out something chronic, it was Numan's wife, maybe she forgot she was just like "super fan" before she married Numan, you can see why he married her though, stalker or not.

when I was a teen.. my world began and ended with Gary Numan !
was a huge fan back in the 80's.... I had the black hair... the blue hair... all the albums ( some signed) got tickest to the Fury tour... should have been seated half way back up the apollo in Manchester... was well chuffed that a mate who was with us knew someone who worked there and got us right to the stage !! I still own Numan's Dad's backstage pass from that tour too !
