road angel Nav or tomtom?
Which one is the better? what are pros and cons of each?
I am after getting something along these lines ... but not knowing much about things like this i was hoping you would be able to give me some advice.

Have a TomTom Go 300. Had a couple of problmes with it, mainly down to customer services being rubbish but as we bought it on the high street, the retailer took care of all the problems for us instead! No other problems with it at all

thanks guys, not too bothered about the size of the unit but one of my mates said he was thinking about the R/A nav, not really sure wether to go for something without the navigation and just have something to camera detection?

Tomtom is excellent but have to say this is an indusrty moving quickly - there are so many more units on the market, Tomtom are about to introduce a whole new range 510, 710 and a new 910 version, and having seen others, the tomtom 700 (which I have) is showing it's age versus what others have. Many have mp3 players built in, speed camera database all installed etc. Excellent really...

my sister has just got the Tom Tom one and its so much better than mine. hers is the slim unit and does all the things mine does.
the RA sat nav charhes 399 a month subscription as well

Tom Tom in my car. A Go 300 jobby... Its great well worth the wedge...
