Default Interesting Police activites

So, my sisters friends brother is a bag head, lets get that clear from the start. Hes a waster, someone the world would be better without. He is in no way assoicated with me or anything Impreza related.

He got pulled over the other day and having a small bag of the white stuff on him he hid it down his boxers. As hes talking the bag slips out and falls on the floor, the policeman picks it up and asks him what it is. Obviously knowing. The young man put his head down, ok the copper said, heres whats gonna happen. He opens the car door and takes the blokes wallet, opens it and took the £40 inside out, then picked up his phone, took the sim out and passed it to him, putting the bag, phone and money in his pocket. Smiled and left.

He was robbed by a Copper...

Good for him cause he got away with a class A, but surely the wrong way for our police force to act??

This isn't some internet rumor, its certain fact!

I think that it would be a mistake to assume that, simply because a person is on the side of decency and honesty; that they are automatically honest and decent themselves.....

Two ways of answering this.

OK, obviously no one's a fan. There's a dodgy copper who supplies Moz with gear in the BBC3 sit com "Ideal". He's actively trying not to get promoted so he is still in contact with the stuff so he can pass it on.

No one else seen it?

To the people naive and foolish enough to suggest that this is some sort of 'nautral law': then consider that the Police officer concerned is exactly the same sort of dirty thieving dishonest drug dealing-scum that you usually want treating in this manner..... makes you think doesnt it? Doesnt it?

You say it's CERTAIN FACT, but you also say this bloke is a loser drug addict who you are ashamed to speak about.

Don't believe it for a second, can believe him confiscating the drugs, obviously, could possibly strecth to believe the copper helped himself to a bit of cash, but no way in the world would the copper be daft or desperate enough to take a mobile phone, that everyone knows are worth rock all and are so easily traceable!

Utter boll0cks IMO

I can just picture the copper tonight in the gents at the pub, coked out of his nut, buying some free rounds for the lads, and phoning his wife on his 'new' mobile to tell her he'll be late home.

How are they easily traceable? Kiddies in london get robbed at knife and gun point all the time yet the robbers dont seem to be in jail

The kiddies in London don't wear uniforms with ID on, and aren't telling someone else where they are all the time. Why would the policeman take the mobile, just so the waster can bring a complaint? Mobile in policemans possession, IED number etc, bang to rights, regardless of drug offence (that was never reported) just seems daft and stupid to me.

A drug user says a policeman robbed him.

All we know about the OP's mate is that a friend of his considers him a waste of space, and the sort of bloke you wouldn't miss if he fell off the earth.....

All very good points, but my sister was in the car following them, unless he lost his mobile between starting off and the copper pulling him, the copper took it. No where else it could have gone.

I'm not really arsed about the treatment he receieved, for all I care they should have shot him, but on the same side of it, whos to say this Policeman wont do the same to me if I'm caught speeding

Ah, but you would have the good sense to refuse to give him your personal belongings and report him immediately. And as you would not have any incriminating substances "falling out of your pants" then you should be okay!

Before anyone says he would take them anyway, may I just point out this is not Baghdad, nor a 1980's LA cop movie.....

My brother and his pal got pulled for being drunk an disorderly in Aberdeen a couple of years ago. My bro's mate let it slip his dad was a Chief Constable in another constabulary shortly before begging to be let-off. He was marched to a cash machine and "asked" to withdraw £200 unless he wanted his dad to find out.

He went home £200 lighter.
