Starlight Express - Suitable for a 4 year old?
My mother is thinking of taking my 4 year old daughter to watch Starlight Express. I know my daughter will sit and watch pantos etc becuase shes been to a few and knows what to expect.
However, a panto is a bit different to an Andrew Lloyd Webber production. I suspect she probably wouldn't quite get the story but I can imagine she'd be mesmerised (sp) by lots of people burning about the stage on roller skates.
Anyone been to the touring Starligh Express show? How long was it and were there any children there?

The Skaters go all around the theatre on special ramps not just the stage
Didn't know it was back on as I want to take my kids

I am sure they just play some film now. If you have seen the proper production, this is bound to dissapoint.
However in answer to your question I reckon she'll love it.

I saw this in London a while back (fair few years ago), and it was excellent. I would think a 4yr old would really enjoy it. Its not like Les Mis sort of thing, its much more easy to follow and can be enjoyed by all ages really.
I find it hard to believe theres no skating action in it anymore - thats half the attraction?

Cheers for the replies.
By the looks of it, there is still skating etc but I think its all stage based rather than the ramps etc they used to have in London.
