Help with pricing sofa
Got two 3 seater sofas with a recliner action on each. Sofas are in cream leather, approx 5 years old. Cushions can be removed (Zipped).
Both are in good condition, recliner mechanisms working properly, no holes but a couple of scratches as you would expect.
Need to sell them, any suggestions as to where? Would ebay be worthwhile? If I put them in the local rag, any suggestions as to an asking price?

Do you have "ad-trader" in your area ??
I have sold stuff through this previously, they also have a website that you can list & they add this to the twice weekly published paper. Yellow & blue in colour depending on the day. I am sure its wednesday & saturday they get published.
As for price i would ask for £250 ono for them

I'd go on ebay, see if u can find something similar then watch it til the auction ends of see if there's any 'buy it now' items. Either should give u an idea of what people r prepared to pay.

Stick them on ebay.. you will be surprised what they will fetch. When i bought this house the prev owner left behind two horrid sofa's, i stuck them on ebay and was £200 better off 7 days later

Hello
I have to sofa's to sell as well (3 seater/2 seater), quite old but in okay condition. If I put them on eBay, what wording do I have to use to make sure that it's only pick-up?
Literally: "Must come and pick up only"?

Probably, however it's still in good nick and I remember when I first started out, a decent sofa for a few quid was a welcome purchase.
Wanted to know suggested price as I don't want 500 calls but equally too much hassle to skip them. Pays for a few beer tokens as well
