FPN for failure to display number plate
Passed a police car earlier who crained and noticed i had no front plate on the car.
Sometime later he's stuck an FPN under my wiper (in the rain) with a load of incorrect details on (saying my car is silver for a start, ****). and time was "from 18:00-19:00". WTF.
This was under the wiper and not handed to anyone. I had a numberplate in the window he was in a queue on the right of me so he wont have seen that.
Just pay it?
Throw it away? (wasn't given to me)
go protest?

Oh just to add. In filling out the form they have blatently LIED for half the tickboxes because how do they know the driver had a full license etc? They don't even know who the driver is (its not registered to me).
I've also never heard of a "Honda 2000"

Stopped tonite by the said ****.
He is about my age, and started going on about such a nice car for someone of my age.
And how if it wasnt fixed immediately he would report me and get me 6 points.
Said he will come round tomorrow and check it. Also said he will be "following me round to make sure i keep it on".
Then the bird with him started going on how if i keep plate on if it gets nicked i will stand some chance of getting it back. I said i dont want it back if nicked and the guy started going on about how i must have too much money..

Well yeah i said "i'll be able to get a newer one if it gets nicked". Then he tried to make out i'd been going thru cameras and not getting busted as i had no points on my license. Luckily i refrained from punching his smug face in.

Just spoken to a friend, its fine to be in the window. And yes he is being reported.
I'll put my trackday plates on tomorrow for parking on the drive
I'll replace it when I can find a shorter reg I wanna buy, it's too long to stick to the bumper at the moment.
