Just seen him on the BBC sports show today being interviewed as back seat passenger driving to some event.
Our most valuable asset in the England team was not wearing a seat belt.Obviously not aware of the consequenses if being involved in an impact.
I thought these people were supposed to be aware of their responsibilities.Imagine the outcry if he was even slightly injured in a low speed impact & couldn't make the World Cup,I'm sure Sven would be impressed.Surely he should be setting an example to kids at least. Imagine your kid saying ' why should I wear a seat belt ,Wayne Rooney dosen't'
I have seen this a lot of people not strapped in on television ,even drivers & front seat passengers.Don't TV companies have responsibility to try & make sure they don't let people do this if they are showing it to the public?
My question is How many people make sure they use a seat belt when sitting in the back of a car? I insist on it as the driver is just as likely to be harmed when you fly forward into him.
People are still talking about the death of Princess Diana years later.Countless programmes , books ,newspaper articles etc. about how she died & various conspiracy theories involving all sorts of people.
Well guess what? She had a huge personal responsibilty for her own death. She was travelling in a large Mercedes, one of the strongest safest cars on the road. She knew she was being driven a speed trying to evade being seen or caught by the press & therefore at greater risk than normal. After the crash the rear passenger cell of the car was almost intact .If she was wearing a seat belt she probably would have had only minor injuries or even walked away.

You're right and, of course, Rooney could cause quite a bit of damage flying through the air even at relatively low speeds.......
