Public Transport from Chertsey, info reqd.
Hi all,
I'll be stopping in Chertsey Surrey for a few nights at the beginning of April.
I'll be wanting to do a couple of sightseeing trips into the capital so will be looking at using the train service and then the tube.
Now being from the Midlands the last time I used public transport was the School bus.
So from Chertsey where should I be looking at going to etc?
Any info or web links would be great.
Cheers
Lee

Middle of nowheresville I'm afraid. You'd be looking at getting to Woking for a direct link to Waterloo. I've heard from others marooned there that taxis are the only realistic option.
Not visiting EA by any chance are you?

I have the car so am I best driving to another station? Preferably one with a decent car park.

Depends which bit of Chertsey - the M25 split it up badly. if you're going to Sungard, Compass or ADP, the station is quite handy, although it's quite a slow line to Waterloo. If you're over the other side of the M25 (hospital, EA, etc) you're a bit shafted and Weybridge is a much better option.

What's the EA by the way?

Their European HQ is based in a Norman Foster designed building located by a lake in good ol' Chertsey.
The company that I have in fact, recently elected to work for no longer.
