Oranges, (fruit ones), why do...........
...........some of the big ones have like a smaller orange growing as part of the non-stalk end? I had one last night and there was almost a complete orange, about 3cm across, inside the end of the bigger one.

This is just like asking where do mules come from -- their mothers are horses and their fathers are donkeys. The males are always infertile, and females normally so - fertile mules are very rare indeed.Something to do with chromosomes of horses and donkeys being different.
