Default Finance question. Can I have two mini-isas?

I already have a 'stocks and shares' mini-isa with M&G (paying in monthly). I want to take out another one (again 'stocks and shares' paying in monthly) with Fidelity. Can I do this, provided I don't go over the £4,000 annual limit??????????.
I ask because some financial websites seem to give conflicting advice......!?!

No

The one you are paying into with M&G is open for this year so you can't open another one.

If you stop your M&G payments for april then you can take out the fidelity one after 7th april.
