Guitars - Opinion onthe Line 6 30watt Spider 2 amp.
Going to buy a line 6 30 watt amp tomorrow in Rotherham to go with my new vintage SG rep.
Any others i should consider before I go blow £110?

I have a Line 6 and love the sound - very versatile. Having said that, if you have any pedals you should probably try those with it before you buy, as I've found some pedals don't seem to give the desired effect with the amp - even when it's in clean mode.

hmmmmm, looks tempting. Im wanting to lay (and listening to) cradle of filth. would the vox manage the insane distortion the line6 gives?

If you want a digital amp that sounds good check out the Roland Cube series.
I'm really fussy about the guitar gear I use and to be honest I've always thought the digital stuff sounded horrible.
You just cant beat a valve amp but when I heard these new Rolands I was gobsmacked. Just a superb piece of equipment.
A propper decent sounding amp. Dont get me wrong it doesn't touch my Rivera but for 150 quid this Cube 60 I'm getting is a hell of an amp for jamming, rehearsals etc.
Poor Guy - Have a look at one of the Roland cubes before you part with you'r hard earned. They might be what you're looking for
