I drive on the M20 and A249 every day, normally I would see police cars pulling people over on the M20 and camera vans on the A249 (sometimes 2 vans only a couple of miles appart!)

Since the big robbery none anywhere! A few searching the laybys on the A249 this morning but no hassle to motorists!

Nice to see the police doing some REAL work

 

Their only working, cos they're chasing money !!

 

Robberies or motorists, its all the same to them!

 

Crime is crime (my observation skills are brill), some crime more serious than other crimes... (see told you )
Its a shame they couldnt draft in some "specials" to ensure that those who flout road law still get caught... But we cant have it all...
I guess the armed robbery and kidnapping charges they are trying to resolve are more important than policing the roads to prevent the potential murders of innocent people caused by speeding drivers... . Alas with limited resources this will happen from time to time, especially with a crime so high profile...
I recommend temporary cameras in these situations so we can sleep easy knowing that motor crimes are still being policed...

 

On the lunchtime news they ran the story about the robbers "Two men have been charged with conspiracy to robbery. Both gave their occupations as car salesmen". So, nothing new there then
