Default Fitting a timer to a plug/socket.

So i can listen to my hi-fi as i go to sleep but turns it off after a pre-deteremined time............is this possible.

Actually i think a timer built into a 4 line socket might be better.

Plug the timer into the wall socket, then the 4-way into that.

If getting up and switching the plug off at the wall would work, then using a timer on said plug would also work - all it does is switch it on/off at set times!

Mind you, most decent stereos have this built in.

woolys do a timer socket (solid state)

costs about £9 and can be preprogrammed with a multitude of times.

better still, a cheap mp3 player and some cordless headphones
