From: Tellins, Home of Super Leagues finest, and where a "split" is not all it seems.
I met him at a Sportsmans Dinner a couple of years ago. He was a really nice guy, very humble and down to earth.
For once I can contribute to a "death thread" on NSR and genuinely feel sympathy towards friends and family of the deceased
A great player, despite playing for a cockerney team, who should have played more for his country than he did.

IIRC, 1969 (may have been 1968?) Chelsea vs Spurs at Stamford Bridge. 1-1 draw, Osgood scored from the penalty spot.
I was there.....

From: It's like finding a cocktail sausage, when what you really wanted was a rather large saveloy.
Played for Chelsea and then Southampton, a member of the winning 1976 FA Cup winning team.
