Post office
Just got mine renewed this week, got an excellent price and good policey with the post office....worth calling for a quote id say....they are doing £50 cash back aswell if you accept the quote...

For what eggs can be bought for I'd never consider insuring them, certainly not in the home. They are far more likely to break on the journey back from the shops, but even so, paying a premium just in case wouldn't be worth it.
