Cheque cashing??

These places that cash cheques..You know the ones on the high street?

What is there typical % on a cheque for say £1000?
IE..what would they take out??

The one in our town centre charges a flat fee and or 6% based on the value of the cheque,

Ahhh..£60 quid in the grand eh....is there likely to be a capped rate?
