Default Ten year old kid outrages entire car forum

My lad, JJ, does comedy "car reviews" on our website.http://www.justgofaster.com/Reviews/...5/Default.aspx (warning, strong language)

The people at www.alfaowner.com seem to have taken offence at his comments on the 156.
http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/showt...4&page=1&pp=15

Do these guys honestly think we are trying to be some sort of serious car magazine ? Whatever happened to the great British sense of humour
There are some hilarious responses on there....

BTW, please judge his language in the context of the site, he doesn't get to talk like that at home

Irony is one of the corner stones of British humour.

Ironic: A 10 year old child accusing a long line of automobiles as being '******* cars', who then goes on to describe an MX5 as 'Fu*king Great'...

I assure you - based on this, the great British sense of humour is alive and well: there are probably dozens of people laughing at him as I type...

Am I missing something here? its neither nor funny or clever getting a 10yr old boy to give a review with such a wide range of terms.

Whether he uses that language at home or not seems to me your sending the kid confusing messages.

Give yourself a pat on the back for winding up alfa owners in such an original way

Is the review full of repressed homosexuality like the rest of them?

Anyway, what the f*** is a Volvo T5 estate doing in the supercar section???? Even the faster R5 would never claim to be a supercar... If you're going to write about cars, some basic knowledge would be a good start.
LOL

One from the South Park generation of "let's swear loads to get a laugh".

south park is not real,

that is the humour of adults exposing kids to swearing and laughing at their reaction to it.

they use swearing as a basis for the storyline of the film. That is hardly the same as an actual 10 year old boy writing these kind of things.

On top of that, how do you know that the kid actually uses this language. ask DJ if his son says these things or he just paraphrases him when he constructs the website.

Assuming it isn't his son's own work.

Isn't South Park real? Blimey. And there was me thinking Kenny was the new Messiah, what with him reincarnating each episode. Oh hang on - I need to check my Christian handbook to see if Jesus can be depicted in a cartoon... He must be - they make Action Figures of him, afterall.

Exactly.
Some strange reactions from some users on here
It must be blindingly obvious that JJ isn't "saying" these things.

I can't believe people can't see the humour in this!

As for the lanaguage used, I'm quite sure docjock didn't sit the lad down and teach him the words he very probably attends a school with a playground where these words are used daily!

Teaching him that these words are acceptable as a joke and to enforce humour but not acceptable in the home is teaching him about british society and a lot more effecive than banning him from every using them (which he would ignore).

As for the sexuality references well if that's how kids in schools feel (not surprising with gay marriages etc in the news) then thats the situation for the future. Homosexuality will always be referred to like thay by youngsters as it's something different.
