Looking for a basic laptop with wifi and dvd/cd rewriter, 90 day return to base. Its on their web site for £348 all in, just trying to get it a bit cheaper if possible ...

Even the staff don't get much of a discount, it's pretty much bargain basement - especially at that price level!

I got a discount voucher from the net. Try a google search for dell discount code, or variations there of, and you can save anywhere up to 25%, although most of the codes will require a minimum spend, probably six hundred pounds.......

We get a discount thro work - 7% IIRC.

Ordered a laptop, had great problems understanding the bloke on the phone as English didn't appear to be his 1st, 2nd or 3rd language.

TNT were 4 days later than they said it would be and it looked like the bomb squad had been at it. Dell sent out another one. Well....TNT lost that one. So they sent out a 3rd one.....which got nicked out of the box.

I now own a nicy shiny Sony laptop.
