Driving Test Tomorrow!!!
Im 17, and after 6 months of lessons, I've got my 1st driving test at 2pm tomorrow. Feel quite relaxed now, but sure i wont do in the morning! If any of you are around the Sinfin area of Derby at that time tomorrow, please be specially nice if you see a silver Mazda 323F with L's on!
Any last minute tips?

I'm in the final stage of my driver instructor course. Without doubt, the key to passing is observation. Don't forget the cockpit drill (door, hand-brake, neutral, seat, mirrors, seat-belt), POM (Prepare, Observe, Move), MSMPSL (Mirror, Signal, Move, Position, Speed, Look) and LADA (Look, Assess, Decide, Act).
And never rely on other motorists!

i say you can't check your mirrors enough, i passed my test 2 weeks after my 17th birthday and i checked the mirrors loads yet he still marked me down for mirrors!! best of luck mate

Well, my instructor is coming to pick me up in just under an hour. Actually feel quite relaxed, just want to get in the car and get started now!! All these months of prep, and this is where it counts. Will post up the result later...

if you make a mistake dont worry, just remember your recovery techniques.
if you stall it, handbrake on, out of gear, start engine etc, and dont forget to look over your shoulder before pulling off,
i stalled twice on my test, once before i got out of the car park
i still passed though...

When i was learning i didn't stall the instructors car once 
It was only after i had been driving on my own for a while and went back to do pass plus that the stalling demons haunted me, pmsl!
Driving is very easy, with everything if your confident with what you are doing then the examiner will pick up on it. Nerves must be the biggest reason for failure. I passed first time with 3 minors after 6 months of lessons
