Default Surround Sound speaker wire.

I am doing some fecking about with moving stuff in the house.

Turns out that the speaker wire isnt long enough.

Whats the best way for joining the wire, just the usual twist & away we go or would i be better soldering it ??

Its going to be hidden behind skirting boards so i wont be able to get access to it, hence why i want to get it right first time

Chhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rsssssss

crimps or solder and insulate.
the audiophilles will want you to run new un-jointed lengths though.

Solder is the only way that's guaranteed to be reliable over the long term, in my professional opinion. Ideally cover the joints with heat shrinkable sleeving.
