"It's good meat for free and I know nobody has been messing with it and feeding it with hormones and growth accelerants and so on. It's just natural, fully organic meat."
Sounds like good sense to me. Almost certainly better meat than what you can buy in the large supermarkets, and definately better thasn the crap in fast foods and ready meals.

I bet those that brand him wierd enjoy munching on McDonalds and KFC. Ironic really...

His reasoning is actually quite sound to be honest.

Some of his more unusual meals have included a greater horseshoe bat and otter. He regularly eats badger, rabbit, deer, weasel, hedgehog, squirrel and fox.
Put me right off my dinner, sounds awful

How do you know how long it has been there for? Cooking at a high enough temp will destroy the bacteria, but it wont destroy the toxins that the bacteria produced before cooking. If it was a freshly killed pheasant (like within the last 10 seconds) I might consider it, but what happens if this guy comes across Puff's rabbit from last week

He's actually only 28 years old but suffers from Road-Kill Induced Dementia.

Seriously though, unless the animal is a fresh one it doesn't matter a whit how well it's cooked - the toxins from the pathogenic bacteria may not be denatured at ordinary temperatures.

My advice is to go and smack something yourself - at least you know it's fresh.

K.
