They told my wife that they didn't want her business, even though she was an Orange customer for 5 years, and wanted to up her contract!
Because of the way they treated my wife, I'm going to tell Orange to poke it next month when my contract is due!

O2 keep trying to sell me a handset upgrade as I've had my current handset since December 2004.
Every time, I just ask them what is the Upgrade path from the Nokia 9500 and then they go away.

It varies by customer...I am with Orange and they gave me a Sony 910i for free two months before the end of my contract on a Sony 900i. At the same time the gave Scary Scooby a free upgrade as well.
I fully expect a free Sony 990i when it comes out

It's too easy with O2 to get a better deal out of them.
I rang their customer retention helpline today, and claimed that I was all but ready to move to Orange, even told a little white lie about the tariff that they were offering, and they came back to me with a free phone, and a £25 monthly tariff for £15.
So, I've got a new phone coming tomorrow, and I'm now paying £5 less a month than I was with the previous discounted contract.
