Your friend can't go to Boots?
I use face scrub if I haven't shaved for a while to "soften my beard" and make the shave easier. It also clears your skin up and clears the pores.
I don't use after shave balm as it can be harsh and will generally have alcohol in! Instead I use Clinique Post Shave healer to heal skin and prevent shaving rash and it works a treat!
To compensate for this behaviour, I spend a lot of time talking about cars and power tools whilst scratching my *****!

Most of my mates, if not all, use products like this. And they don't all drink Alcopops, either!
A friend of mine has a bathroom cabinet resembling the cosmetics department of Selfridges. His success with the ladies is phenomenal!
Of course, if you're a REAL MAN like some on this forum, even blowing your nose or putting your hand in front of your mouth when you cough makes you effeminate!
