Default Fad diets

I was talking to one of the managers at work about diets amongst other things and his missus sorted out a diet according to his star sign. He lost heaps of weight and says he feels better than ever.
The bugger has gone off on annual leave which is pretty inconsiderate as I wanted to ask him to ask his wife to look into one for me.

I have done a couple of searches on Google which have been fruitless, is there somewhere I can research on the net or do I have to sign up to something? (which I am not going to go that far to do).

Hmmm, star sign diets....
If you are scorpio, exercise more and eat less.
If you are saggitarius, eat less and exercise more.
etc...

LOL - we don't even have a proper calender system in the western world, if we did we'd have 13 star signs and an even amountof days per month.

But I have some magic weight loss beans that you can have for just £800

Ah you know me, if I can find an easier way of keeping trim I'll try.

Or did you mean with the answer aspect?

Pfff, I should have put answers acceptable except from muppets especially Tel.

Edited to add Mr Lewis to that list too.

Alas they are not big enough to swing about effectively.

Am I going to get any iota of sensible answer or is this thread destined to be transported to forum 8?????

It's the lazy spent time off over Christmas and still recovering from a back injury that's slamming the weight back on.

I just want to quickly trim back down and ease back into things prior to the season starting as I am moving up a level and would rather have the weight off than still be working on it for the first few games.

Slack of me I know, but I haven't got that much time mid week for training. I am usally out of the house between 6am and 7pm. Makes for a long day and I try to get half an hour in, but usually I am very tired and don't make a reasonable effort. (IMHO)

A 4 week atkins diet would knock off a stone to 2 stone. Just don't eat any carbs, although exercise will be near impossible.

L101 tried the Atkins, but just couldn't get used to the brekkie side of things and I felt awful on it. You;re right too about the exercise bit, you're supposed to do a certain amount on the break in period or whatever it is called but I felt like passing out.

Apparently your breath begins to smell.........wouldn't be so bad if I was a telesales rep, but I do face to face.

Notorious............thanks for that.

I am more curious to find out about it than actually believe in any astrology mumbo jumbo stuff, the guy at work would be the last person I would have expected to try anything like that....apparently it worked for him, he wasn't particularly interested in details, his missus just looked into it and it got results. <shrug>

Drink a large glass of water before a meal. You'll then eat less as you'lll feel full earlier.
