LoveFilm seem to be pretty good. I get mine from CD-Wow (powered/supplied by Lovefilm) and it's good but I struggle to think of enough films to watch 
! Mine is £12 or 13 for 2 at a time but I'll probably switch it to the £10 for 1 at a time tariff soon. It takes a while to get the latest releases but you always have something if there's enough in your 'wanted' list. Very happy to refer you/your father in law which would get you an extended free trial and me some money off next month
