The other had it on, as i was not giving it my full attention i was only glancing over every now and again, bit weird. But i'm sure, just like LOST, it'll have the marmite affect, you'll either love it or hate it.

Same here - halfway through and that was enough.

Thumbs down

Just like Lost, a few standard hooks to keep you watching, but not much substance.

If you like being manipulated/ suckered into watching 2 hours of story over 40 episodes then keep watching.

And that's suckered, not sucked. There's a difference.

Watched the first 4 & my interest is draining away.
We know as much 4 full episodes in as we did halfway through the first episode. Really needs moving on quickly as it will lose viewers who - like me - will get frustrated.

I'd rather have my teeth extracted than watch yet another "the best **** program out of America in 4 billion years"

Total garbage again - and there seems to be even more ad breaks than Lost - which I never thought would be possible

The problem with these shows is that you really couldn't give a **** what happens to the "heroes" - you just want them all to Die to shut them up

Post Lost, it's a toss-up between Invasion and Surface, and I seem to be leaning towards Surface (as I like deep sea monsters )

lol- can you imagine working in an office with someone like that! Everytime a group of people had a chat over coffee about the previous nights TV he would pop up just to point out he thought it was ****!

Actually that example shares a lot with SN............because he would be considered a **** in an office as well.

Then you missed me, because I gave up after three episodes when I realised that not only was it p*ss-poor, but it wasn't going to get any better. It was two rather silly gimicks (and the multi-screen was necessitated by the "real-time") with nothing to hold them up. The plot was beyond silly, and the female villain was far more interesting than any of the "heroes", most of whom I would have been happy to slap into next week.

Lost was actually worse, because there was no plot of any kind. The writers had clearly watched too much of "The Prisoner", then thrown away all the intelligent stuff.

Invasion is OK, but not great. The guy playing the sheriff is so much better at acting than everyone else though, that it's not funny. And at least theplot moves along, albeit slowly.

I've only seen one episode of "Surface", and it's simply "The Abyss" with evil aliens rather than good ones so far. It's very silly.

And the reason why people like me go on about how bad these series are and thus annoy the rest of you is because, guess what, they're bad. Poor. Rubbish. Stupid. Badly acted and even more poorly scripted. But even badly scripted stuff can be entertaining with good direction - which these don't have.

This is a better one; Butt into a real conversation with this gem and see how many friends you make.
"how boring a day have you got to have to ask these "how old? How rich? what job?" questions?"

This one's close too - If I had asked advice on this subject and you called me a bottom feeder I don't think you'd be on my XMas card list
"They are bottom feeders"
no- they make profit from people that want it NOW and cant wait. they provide a service that EVERYONE who uses it wants...otherwise they would pay cash.
if you feel they are bottom feeding thats a greater reflection on those they assist than them.

And better still - Who when asked about Lost Said "Seen them All - Pants"
http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...65#post5050765
Interestingly in the same thread UB said "It could *only* get better. Impossible to get worse."

But I'll **** off now anyway .

I'm intregued by Surface. The whole big monster thing is always fun, if as someone mentioned a bit silly. Lets hope they don't drag it out for ever as with Lost. That JJ Abrahms needs a slap!

But I'll **** off now anyway .

1st one- retarded posts about how old we are, etc, etc are drivel that slows up the world. If i worked somewhere where people said "so...how old are we all" i would slap them and have them sacked.

2nd one- my point related to the comment made about the COMPANY being bottom feeders not the poster. I simply pointed out that to call one bottom feeders places the poster on the bottom to be fed upon.

3rd- my point was that i like yank TV yet didnt like lost- it was not a negative attack on the thread like UB crap.

gald you have gone though.
