3points I got 4years ago add 100 quid to my insurance premium!
I cant believe it! 3 points which arent even on my licence anymore (its now clean) add 100quid to my insurance quote from Elephant 
Already made my 60quid donation to Gordon Brown at the time, and it seems crazy my insurance quote goes up from 750 to 850 just because of a revenue-raising SP30 back in 2002
Almost tempting to not declare it, and if they come back asking, I'll say well my licence is clean?

To be honest, I think quite a few insurance companies don't bother adding to the policy if you only have 3 point. It's that common now, even your Grannies bound to have 3 points.
