Goodwood FOS 2006 Heads up!!!
Just been announced in our local paper,
Hannu Mikkalau (sp) has been at Goodwood over the last few weeks to discuss the changes to the offroad / rally course.
At present the course is 1.5 mile run, with competitors going oneway, then turning round, and comming back down the run the other way.
Hannu will be redesigning the course, to make it a continous run, so the cars dont have to stop and turn round.
etc etc.
Sould be interesting then

Sounds good, although they never actually had to turn round before heading back the way they came. It was effectively a powerslide u-turn they did on a kind of roundabout arrangement before they headed back. Plenty of straw bales had to be repositioned at that point as the drivers werent afraid of hanging the tail out!!!
I just hope this year that those pesky Bowlers arent kicking up as much dust as they did last year
Booking my tickets next week and cant wait. See you all there on Friday.

Tickets have been on sale for about 2 months now. Best grandstands seats in Park are already sold out.
Arranged a ride for my mates 40th with Russell Brookes on the rally stage last year which he wont forget for a while.

Roaming Grandstand tickets are the way forward. Have allways bought them for the last few years. Only an extra tenner IIRC
