Right, here goes....no pi$$ taking please - I just can't get my head around it!

Can anyone please explain the basics of the Irish lotto for me? I have £120 to put on on behalf of my colleagues (last years UK lotto syndicate's winnings).

I really need a brief explanation of the easiest way to do it for one draw ideally, including answers to the following stupid questions -

1. Can you do lucky dips like the UK lotto (don't feel like handwriting 120 tickets)
2. Does it work in the same way as the UK lotto, ie.If you choose 6 numbers and 3 of those come up, do you win or do you have to match those 6 numbers to win anything?
3. Anyone recommend the best way to make money?

Last one was tounge in cheek although I want to at least make our money back if at all possible!!
