Always fancied getting one. A mate of mine said he would get himself one for Christmas. I will find out if he did and if it is any good.

I got one for xmas off my g/f. Needs filling with sand or water, started with sand but took ages so I filled it with water. Adjustable head/shoulder section, so you can practise beating a 5ft / 7ft bloke.

Different levels, 1-5, and leds in the eyes, head, chest, flash so you hit them.

Boy, after a while you feel *UCKED !

You get a video / instructions in how to use it, but being a realman, I didnt bother. Just put the gloves on and beat it.

How F*cked ????

Do you recon it's a better workout than spending 20mins on the treadmill ???

I'm trying to find something to lose the pounds and get fit, as I've been going to the gym now, on & off for the best part of 7 years, and quite frankly I'm getting sick of going. Shin splints don't help with the running, and rowings a bit boring. So, if the Slam Man gives you a proper workout, then I think this might be the one to buy.

Only other concern is that I live in Flat's, and I suppose i'd better think about the noise on the ceiling below, while I beat the f*ck out of it.

Couldn't you just hang one of the local neds from the garage rafters ? Much better sound effects and it doesn't require filling up

I watched a film where a guy, who worked in a funeral palour, used to tie the dead bodies up and use them as punch bags :-) Cant remember what it was called though.

Mmmm not sure if its a one hit wonder. I enjoy it. YOu soon learn how to hit properly, and its amazing how tired you get, i.e. unfit you are.

Bit different in an office though. Not as if your going to do 10 rounds of 3 mins on it are you ? :-) Be sweating like a pig, and tired for the rest of the day.

Discovered one fault with it, although it can handle punches, cant take a `bottling` though :-) hahaha
